Antwerp hands are biscuits and / or chocolates made in the shape of a hand. These hands are a reference to the legend about the origin of Antwerp. After all, the giant Antigoon cut off hands from the passing boatmen who refused to pay tolls until he was killed by Brabo. Afterwards, Brabo also threw Antigoon's hand in the Scheldt.

Elixir d 'Anvers is a herbal liqueur that has been brewed in Antwerp since 1863. The founder, François-Xavier De Beukelaer, born in Ekeren on April 18, 1838, fine-tuned the recipe in 1863 after years of experimentation. The liqueur quickly became known for its good digestive and beneficial properties. It was also used, among other things, against colic in horses. The liqueur is still produced according to this original recipe. The liqueur distillery was first located at the Paardenmarkt in Antwerp. The company has been located on Haantjeslei since 1894. FX De Beukelaer is one of the oldest distilleries in Belgium.

De Koninck brewery has been brewing beer in Antwerp since 1833.
The amber-colored beer (5.2%) is drunk from a typical spherical glass: the bolleke. for this reason a De Koninck was also simply called a bolleke. This nickname became the official brand name of the beer in 2019.
The Koninck Triple d'Anvers is a triple with refermentation in the bottle. Thanks to the refermentation, the beer has a sparkling character.
